Gelonghui, July 16丨Baiyun Airport (600004.SH) announced that according to the “Notice Letter on the Guangzhou Baiyun Airport Phase III Expansion Project” issued by Airport Group, the controlling shareholder of the company, recently, the Guangzhou Baiyun Airport Phase III expansion project (“Phase III Expansion Project”) with the Airport Group as the project applicant was approved by the National Development and Reform Commission.

The third phase of the expansion project is a key project to implement the “Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area”, accelerate the construction of an international aviation hub at Baiyun Airport, and promote the construction of a world-class airport complex in the Greater Bay Area. The project is conducive to improving the comprehensive security capabilities and service level of Baiyun Airport, meeting the growing demand for air transport, and further enhancing the competitiveness of Baiyun Airport as an international hub.

In accordance with the principles of legal compliance and market fairness, the Airport Group will carry out necessary procedures to support listed companies to operate commercial-related business (including tax exemption, advertising business, etc.) of the Phase III expansion project.
