Gelonghui, December 26 | The SSE Composite Index closed up 0.1% on heavy trading volume, marking its eighth consecutive day of gains and nearing the 4,000-point mark, with A-share turnover reaching RMB 2.18 trillion, a new monthly high. The nonferrous metals sector surged across the board, with lithium battery upstream and midstream materials segments triggering a wave of limit-up surges; the commercial aerospace concept remained active. The AI supply chain retreated collectively, with photolithography machines, OCS, and CPO-related concepts posting widespread declines. In the ETF space, mini-sized Hong Kong stock ETFs continued their rise, with Guangfa Fund’s Hang Seng ETF (Hong Kong Stock Connect) climbing 7.18%, and its latest premium rate reaching 16.96%. The nonferrous metals sector remained strong, with Guotai Fund's Mining ETF, Yiduomin Mining ETF Zhaoshang, and Southern Fund's Nonferrous Metals ETF rising 4.25%, 4.16%, and 3.95%, respectively. The satellite internet sector rallied in the afternoon, with Zhaoshang Fund's Satellite Industry ETF, Yifangda’s Satellite ETF, and Fuguo Fund’s Satellite ETF gaining 3.64%, 3.59%, and 3.49%, respectively. The Hong Kong Stock Connect 100 ETF gave back some of its earlier premium, falling 2%. The semiconductor sector declined, with Semiconductor Equipment ETF Fund and Semiconductor Equipment ETF each dropping 1.59% and 1.45%, respectively. The CPO sector also retreated, with Communication ETF falling 1.15%.
