Gelonghui, July 9 | Yashili International (01230.HK) issued an announcement regarding the trademark license agreement between Ou Shi Mengniu, Yashili (Guangdong) and Inner Mongolia Mengniu (collectively referred to as the “Contracting Party”) to grant Inner Mongolia Mengniu, Oshimeng Niu, Yashili (Guangdong) and their affiliated companies the right to use and sub-license trademarks in China. On July 9, 2020, the contracting party entered into a supplementary contract to the trademark license agreement, according to which (i) New Zealand Yashili Dairy Co., Ltd., an affiliate of Yashili (Guangdong) incorporated in New Zealand, was designated as a licensee under the trademark license agreement, and can use and sub-license the trademark in New Zealand to produce products in New Zealand, and that such products can be imported into China for promotion, promotion, marketing and sale; and (ii) the supplementary confirmation letter applies to the trademark license contract as amended by the supplementary contract.
