Gap Inc. has sold 10 million cloth masks to businesses and institutions amid commercial demand for the products as employees return to work during the coronavirus pandemic, the clothing retailer said Tuesday.

Through a recently launched business-to-business sales program, Gap has sold the masks to employers including New York City, the state of California and Kaiser Permanente, Gap said.

The minimum order under Gap's program is 100,000 units, Gap said. The company also has donated 200,000 non-medical masks to community organizations, it added.
