ETF Market Close | A-shares Trading Volume Contracts for Third Consecutive Day, Commercial Space Sector Rises in the Afternoon; Satellite ETF Gains 2.5%

Gelonghui, November 28 | The A-share market extended its gains in the afternoon, with the Shanghai Composite Index closing up 0.34%, the Shenzhen Component Index rising 0.85%, and the ChiNext Index gaining 0.7%. The total market turnover reached RMB 1.59 trillion, a decrease of RMB 125.4 billion compared to the previous day's trading volume, marking the lowest level since August 4. This marks the third consecutive day of declining turnover. Over 4,100 stocks across the market rose. The semiconductor equipment sector led the gains throughout the day, while the Fujian sector expanded its gains in the afternoon. The lithium battery industry chain rebounded strongly, and the commercial aerospace concept recovered in the afternoon. Meanwhile, banking and pharmaceutical stocks declined against the trend. In the ETF sector, semiconductor equipment led the gains, with China AMC's STAR Semiconductor ETF, Penghua Fund's STAR Semiconductor ETF, and Huatai-PineBridge Fund's STAR Semiconductor Equipment ETF rising by 3.36%, 3.32%, and 3.11%, respectively. Oil and gas stocks performed well, with Yinhua Fund's Oil & Gas Resources ETF expanding its gain to 3.49%, with the latest premium rate at 1.68%. The commercial aerospace sector strengthened, with Yongying Fund's Satellite ETF rising by 2.57%. The rare metals sector rebounded, with Harvest Fund's Rare Metals ETF and GF Fund's Rare Metals ETF both rising by 2%. In the Hong Kong stock market, the financial sector extended its losses in the afternoon, with both the HK Connect Financial ETF and the Hong Kong Financial ETF falling by 1%. The traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) sector led the declines, with the TCM ETF dropping by 1%. The Hong Kong innovative drug sector weakened, with both the HK Connect Healthcare ETF and the Hang Seng Innovative Drug ETF falling by 0.9%.
