ETF Market Review | U.S. equity ETFs dominate the gainers list, with Nasdaq Technology ETF and Nasdaq ETF rising 5.28% and 4.05%, respectively.

Gelonghui, November 20th | A-share market opened high but closed low, with the three major indices collectively falling. By the close, the Shanghai Composite Index dropped by 0.4%, and the ChiNext Index fell by 1.12%. The total trading volume of the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets for the day was RMB 1.7226 trillion, a decrease of RMB 20 billion compared to the previous day. Over 3,850 stocks across the entire market declined. Sectors such as lithium battery electrolyte, photovoltaics, aquaculture, e-commerce, first-day economy, and NVIDIA-related themes all experienced pullbacks, while coal, oil, retail, and military industries saw significant declines. Lithium mining, banking, and real estate sectors bucked the trend and strengthened. In terms of ETFs, overnight gains in the three major U.S. stock indexes led to U.S.-focused ETFs dominating the gainers list. The Invesco Nasdaq Technology ETF managed by Invesco Great Wall Fund rose by 5.28%, the China AMC Nasdaq ETF managed by China AMC rose by 4.05%, and the CMBI Nasdaq 100 ETF and Guotai Nasdaq ETF managed by CMB International Asset Management and Guotai Fund increased by 3.89% respectively, with the latest premium rates at 20.06%, 9.31%, and 8.14%. The Nikkei 225 Index rose by 2.6%, with the E Fund Nikkei 225 ETF and Huaan Nikkei 225 ETF managed by Huaan Fund increasing by 2.17% and 2.15%, respectively. The real estate sector showed active performance, with the Guotai Materials ETF and Fullgoal Materials ETF rising by 2.02% and 1.56%, respectively. The science and innovation new energy sector continued to decline, with the Science and Innovation New Energy ETF and the E Fund Science and Innovation New Energy ETF falling by 3.01% and 2.91%, respectively. The semiconductor sector was entirely negative, with Semiconductor Materials ETF, Semiconductor Equipment ETF, and Chip Equipment ETF all dropping by 2%.
