The National Development and Reform Commission and the National Energy Administration recently jointly issued “On the Renewable Status of All Provincial Administrative Regions in 2020energyAccording to the “Notice on the Weighting of Electricity Consumption Responsibility”, judging from the national situation, the minimum total consumption responsibility weight of 10 provinces (districts and municipalities) exceeds 30%, and 9 provinces (districts and municipalities) have a minimum weight of responsibility for non-water and electricity consumption exceeding 15%.

Compared with the actual completion situation in 2019, the lowest non-hydropower consumption responsibility weight in the eastern and central provinces increased more than in the “Three North” regions over the same period last year, which is conducive to promoting the consumption of new energy across provinces and regions. At the same time, the minimum non-hydropower consumption responsibility weights for clean energy demonstration provinces (districts) in five countries, including Zhejiang, Sichuan, Ningxia, Gansu and Qinghai, have been raised appropriately to better play a leading role in demonstration.
