Zhitong Finance APP reported that Bit Metaverse (08645) announced that the company has signed a memorandum of authorization with Lighthouse Immersive Studios Touring Inc. (“Lighthouse Studios”) and Haotoon Co., Ltd. (“Haotoon”), regarding cooperation on the operation and promotion of the “Disney Animation Immersive Experience” project in mainland China.
According to the memorandum, Lighthouse Studios has been authorized by The Walt Disney Company to develop, produce, and exhibit the “Disney Animation Immersive Experience” globally, as well as authorize third parties to conduct related businesses. Lighthouse Studios agrees to authorize the company and Haotoon to jointly promote and operate the “Disney Immersive Experience Pavilion” in up to five cities in mainland China. All parties have also agreed to grant the operational rights of the project to a Hong Kong-based company, Lululala., Ltd. The authorization described in the memorandum is subject to final approval by The Walt Disney Company.
The board believes that Disney is an internationally renowned brand, and the company’s ability to secure authorization, along with Haotoon, to operate the “Disney Immersive Experience Pavilion” in China reflects the group’s market operation capabilities and brand promotion strengths in the metaverse business. The group will continue to expand its metaverse operations, including more immersive experiences based on light and shadow technologies, thereby enhancing the brand value and influence of Bit Metaverse.
