Gelonghui, September 3 | The A-share market exhibited mixed performance today. By the close, the Shanghai Composite Index fell by 1.16%, the Shenzhen Component Index dropped by 0.65%, while the ChiNext Index rose by 0.95%. The total transaction volume across the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing stock exchanges reached 23.957 billion yuan, a decrease of 51.67 billion yuan compared to the previous day. This marks the 16th consecutive trading day with transaction volumes exceeding 2 trillion yuan, with over 4,500 individual stocks declining in the market. In terms of sector performance, the photovoltaic equipment, gaming, and precious metals sectors led the gains, with AI hardware showing strength again in the afternoon, as Zhongji Xuchuang hit a new historical high. Conversely, the military equipment, securities, commercial aerospace, dairy, and rare earth permanent magnet sectors experienced significant declines. Regarding ETFs, the new energy battery sector saw its gains expand in the afternoon, with the Guangfa, E Fund, and CMB battery ETFs increasing by 4.55%, 4.45%, and 4.01%, respectively. The photovoltaic sector was notably active, with the Guangfa photovoltaic ETF and the Penghua ChiNext new energy ETF rising by 3.93% and 3.47%, respectively. The AI hardware sector regained strength in the afternoon, with the Southern Communications ETF increasing by 2.65%. Military stocks experienced widespread declines, with the Aerospace ETF and the Tianhong Aerospace ETF both dropping by 7%. The financial technology sector saw its losses expand in the afternoon, with the Huaxia financial technology ETF and the financial technology ETF falling by 4%.
