ETF Midday Review | A-shares rebound after reaching a low, with low-position sectors leading the gains; Agricultural 50 ETF, Aquaculture ETF, and Gaming ETF by Huatai-PineBridge rising by 3%.

Gelonghui, August 26 | The Shanghai Composite Index dipped and then rebounded, rising by 0.11% at midday; the ChiNext Index increased by 0.21%, having fallen by over 1.3% at one point. The combined trading volume of the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets reached 1.6994 trillion yuan, a decrease of 402.6 billion yuan from the previous day. More than 3,300 stocks across the market saw an increase. In terms of sector performance, low-tier sectors such as gaming, pork, Huawei software, chemicals, and pesticides led in gains; while rare earth permanent magnets, innovative pharmaceuticals, banking, semiconductors, and robotics experienced notable declines, with popular themes such as GPUs, CROs, and photolithography machines generally undergoing moderate adjustments. In the ETF sector, the agriculture sector led in gains, with the China AMC Agricultural 50 ETF, the E Fund Agricultural ETF, and the Franklin Templeton Agricultural ETF all rising over 3%. The pork sector strengthened, with the Guotai Fund Livestock ETF and the CMB Fund Animal Husbandry ETF both increasing by more than 3%. The AI applications sector performed actively, with the Huatai-PB Gaming ETF and the China AMC Gaming ETF both rising by 3%. The semiconductor sector continued to adjust, with the Star Market Chip ETF Index and the Star Market Chip Design ETF declining by 3.32% and 2.36%, respectively. The rare earth sector declined, with the E Fund Rare Earth ETF and the Rare Earth ETF both falling by 2.96% and 2.49%, respectively.
