According to data from the Shenzhen Customs on August 19, during the first seven months, Shenzhen's cumulative import and export volume reached 2.58 trillion yuan, remaining flat compared to the same period last year, and continuing to rank first among mainland cities in foreign trade. Among these, exports totaled 1.56 trillion yuan and imports amounted to 1.02 trillion yuan. In the first seven months, products related to Shenzhen's traditional electronic information industry and strategic emerging industries maintained growth, with exports of mechanical and electrical products reaching 1.17 trillion yuan, an increase of 4.4%, accounting for 74.7%. In traditional electronic consumer goods, exports of computers and their components, as well as audio and video equipment and their parts, were 179.51 billion yuan and 50.27 billion yuan, respectively, growing by 10.8% and 5.5%; in the field of strategic emerging industries, exports of lithium batteries and pure electric passenger vehicles increased by 37.9% and 21.7%, respectively, while exports of key electronic intermediate products, specifically integrated circuits, reached 133.93 billion yuan, growing by 40.9%.
