On May 7, 2023, BYTE META (08645.HK) announced that its indirectly wholly-owned subsidiary, Global Great Trade Co., Ltd. ("Global Great Trade"), has obtained a brand distribution authorization from MEIZU (Zhuhai Xingji MEIZU Information Technology Co., Ltd.), a well-known smart terminal brand in China, giving it the non-exclusive right to sell MEIZU brand smartphones, headphones, AR smart glasses, and other Consumer Electronics products through e-commerce platforms or offline sales channels. The agreement for this brand distribution authorization is valid for 1 year, from May 1, 2025, to April 30, 2026. After the expiration of the license period, both parties may extend the cooperation if they wish to continue working together.
This represents the group’s addition of sales authorization from a well-known smart terminal brand in China. The Board of Directors believes that this collaboration further expands the group’s Consumer Electronics marketing business.
