On May 6, Gelonghui reported that the three major A-share Indexes collectively rose today. By the market close, the Shanghai Composite Index increased by 1.13%, the Shenzhen Composite Index by 1.84%, the Chinext Price Index by 1.97%, and the North 50 Index by 3.21%. The All Market transaction volume reached 1,364.4 billion yuan, an increase of 171.4 billion yuan from the previous day. Nearly 5,000 stocks in the All Market rose. In terms of sectors, New Metal Materials, Controlled Nuclear Fusion, Rare Earth Permanent Magnets, Brain-computer Interface, and Hongmeng Concept stocks led in gains, while the banking sector experienced the largest declines. Regarding ETFs, the CSI Midcap 200 Index SME300ETF saw unusual late-session activity with a 6.4% increase, and the latest premium/discount rate was 3.35%. The Rare Earth sector was strong throughout the day, with the Harvest Fund Rare Earth ETF and the Fortis Fund Rare Earth ETF rising by 5.22% and 4.91% respectively. The Computing Power sector had strong gains throughout the day, with the Huatai-PineBridge Cloud Computing ETF and the Tianhong Fund Cloud Computing Shanghai-Hong Kong-Shenzhen ETF rising by 4.98% and 4.81% respectively. The Saudi ETF dropped by 1.71% and 1.09%. The Energy and chemical industry ETF decreased by 1.26%. The banking sector weakened, with the Bank ETF Selected and the Bank ETF E Fund falling by 0.71% and 0.32% respectively.
