I. Resident Income Situation
In the first quarter, the per capita disposable income of residents nationwide was 12,179 yuan, a nominal increase of 5.5% compared to the same period last year, with a real growth of 5.6% after deducting price factors. By income sources, in the first quarter, the per capita wage income of residents nationwide was 6,976 yuan, an increase of 5.9%, accounting for 57.3% of disposable income; the per capita net operating income was 2,071 yuan, an increase of 5.7%, accounting for 17.0% of disposable income; the per capita net property income was 1,015 yuan, an increase of 2.7%, accounting for 8.3% of disposable income; the per capita net transfer income was 2,117 yuan, an increase of 5.5%, accounting for 17.4% of disposable income.
In the first quarter, the median per capita disposable income of residents nationwide was 9,939 yuan, an increase of 5.0%, with the median being 81.6% of the average. Among them, the median per capita disposable income of urban residents was 13,450 yuan, an increase of 4.5%, with the median being 84.7% of the average; the median per capita disposable income of rural residents was 5,575 yuan, an increase of 6.3%, with the median being 79.6% of the average.

2. Situation of resident consumer expenditure.
In the first quarter, nationwide per capita consumer spending was 7,681 yuan, an increase of 5.2% compared to the same period last year. After adjusting for price factors, the actual increase was 5.3%. When looking at urban and rural areas, urban residents had a per capita consumer spending of 9,363 yuan, an increase of 4.7%, and after adjusting for price factors, the actual increase was 4.8%; rural residents had a per capita consumer spending of 5,333 yuan, an increase of 5.6%, with an actual increase of 5.9% after adjusting for price factors.
In the first quarter, national per capita consumer spending on food, tobacco, and alcohol was 2,420 yuan, an increase of 2.8%, accounting for 31.5% of total per capita consumer spending; per capita spending on clothing was 498 yuan, increasing by 1.2%, accounting for 6.5% of total per capita consumer spending; per capita spending on housing was 1,595 yuan, an increase of 2.1%, accounting for 20.8% of total per capita consumer spending; per capita spending on daily goods and services was 417 yuan, increasing by 9.6%, accounting for 5.4% of total per capita consumer spending; per capita spending on transportation and Communications was 1,044 yuan, an increase of 10.4%, accounting for 13.6% of total per capita consumer spending; per capita spending on Education, culture, and Entertainment was 823 yuan, an increase of 13.9%, accounting for 10.7% of total per capita consumer spending; per capita spending on Medical Care was 648 yuan, an increase of 3.0%, accounting for 8.4% of total per capita consumer spending; per capita spending on Other goods and services was 236 yuan, an increase of 9.9%, accounting for 3.1% of total per capita consumer spending.
