On April 11, according to Gelonghui, the three major A-share indices rose collectively today. By the close, the Shanghai Composite Index increased by 0.45%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose by 0.82%, the GEM Index was up by 1.36%, and the North China 50 Index climbed by 1.48%. The total market turnover was 1,390.7 billion yuan, a decrease of 268.4 billion yuan from the previous day. Over 3,200 individual stocks in the entire market rose. In terms of sectors, precious metals, semiconductors, non-metal materials, and rail transit equipment saw significant gains, while the agriculture and dairy sectors posted the largest declines. In terms of ETFs, gold prices hit a historic high, and the Ping An Fund's Gold Stocks ETF rose by 9.41%. The semiconductor sector led with strong gains, with Guolianan Fund's Sci-Tech Chip Design ETF, Guotai Fund's Integrated Circuits ETF, and Huijin Fund's Sci-Tech Chips 50 ETF rising by 6.89%, 6.74%, and 6.65% respectively. The agricultural sector adjusted, with the Grain ETF and Grain 50 ETF falling by 5.1% and 4.53% respectively. Overnight crude oil futures dropped, and the S&P Oil and Gas ETF declined by 4.76%. The breeding sector fell, with the Breeding ETF down by 2.92%.
