Sina Technology News, on the evening of April 10, at the Huawei Cloud Ecosystem Conference 2025, Huawei's Executive Director and CEO of Cloud Computing, Zhang Ping'an, announced the progress of AI infrastructure architecture, launched the CloudMatrix 384 super node, and announced its large-scale implementation at the Wuhu Datacenter.

In response to the massive computing power demand in the AI era, Huawei Cloud has launched the CloudMatrix 384 super node based on a new high-speed interconnect bus with the principles of "everything can be pooled, everything is equal, and everything can be combined," achieving a transition from server-level to matrix-level resource supply models. The CloudMatrix 384 features "high density," "high speed," and "high efficiency," and through architectural innovation, it leads in computing power, interconnect bandwidth, and memory bandwidth.

Zhang Ping'an stated that for the intelligent world, Huawei Cloud is committed to being the "cloud base" and "enabler" for industry digitalization, accelerating the intelligence of thousands of industries. Relying on AI full-stack capabilities, Huawei Cloud will build a "self-innovation, safe and reliable" AI computing power base and promote the rapid development and implementation of AI across various industries with the Ascend AI Cloud Computing Service; deeply cultivate industries, using the Pangu large model as an engine to create industry solutions and reshape thousands of sectors; and promote ecological construction to explore the vast ocean of AI together with partners and clients.

To create a "black land" with hundreds of models and thousands of states, Huawei Cloud is continuously optimizing the Ascend AI Cloud Computing Service. Currently, it has fully adapted more than 160 third-party large models, including DeepSeek, providing reliable support for large model training and promotion, enabling rapid industry application implementation.

It is reported that Huawei Cloud's Pangu large model has been implemented in over 30 industries and more than 400 scenarios, applied widely in urban governance, smart finance, medical health, and weather forecasting. "We can endure solitude; the Pangu large model will firmly walk the path of industry AI, helping clients from various industries create their own large models. Huawei does not release large model applications for the C-end; instead, we focus more on how to really implement AI for industry clients," Zhang Ping'an stated.

Zhu Yonggang, president of Huawei Terminal Cloud Services, stated at the conference that Huawei Cloud is the "black land" of the digital world, laying a solid foundation with advanced AI computing power, cloud-native architecture, and Global infrastructure, while terminal cloud serves as a "bridge" connecting billions of users, developers, and ecosystem partners. The newly launched next-generation foldable flagship, Pura X, is a collaborative creation of Huawei Cloud and Terminal Cloud capabilities. Its new smart assistant, Xiao Yi, benefits from the support of Ascend Cloud Computing power, driven by the Pangu large model and DeepSeek dual models, providing users with an intelligent companion experience.

Corning, president of Huawei Cloud Global Ecology Department, stated that the ecosystem is a vast fertile land, and only the growth and success of ecological partners can lead to a flourishing ecosystem. Currently, Huawei's developer scale exceeds 12 million, the number of partners exceeds 0.045 million, and the number of applications in the cloud store exceeds 0.012 million.
