In terms of news, following the announcement by XIAOMI-W on March 25 to allocate 0.8 billion shares to raise approximately HKD 42.5 billion, Xiaomi has issued Bonds again to raise funds.

According to the Shanghai Exchange website, the status of the 20 billion yuan public bond project of Xiaomi Communications Technology Co., Ltd. has been updated to "accepted," with the acceptance date being April 7, 2025, and the underwriter and manager being China International Capital Corporation.

The main issuer of this bond issue, Xiaomi Communications, is a core subsidiary of XIAOMI-W that sells Smart Phones, Internet of Things (IoT) and consumer products and provides Internet services.

The draft prospectus states that the scale of this bond issuance will not exceed 20 billion yuan (including 20 billion yuan), of which the total face value of the publicly issued corporate Bonds for a term of more than one year will not exceed 10 billion yuan, and the remaining face value of the publicly issued short-term corporate Bonds will not exceed 10 billion yuan. The duration of these bonds will not exceed 10 years (including 10 years), and they can be of a single-term variety or a mixture of different terms.

The draft also mentioned that after deducting issuance and other related expenses, the raised funds are intended to be used for repaying the company's interest-bearing debts, supplementing the company's working capital, project construction investment, or other purposes permitted by laws and regulations.
