ETF closing review | The A-share market dropped sharply across the board, with a total trading volume of over 50 billion for four 300ETFs.

On April 7, Gelonghui reported that the three major A-share indices all closed lower today. By the end of the trading session, the Shanghai Composite Index dropped by 7.34%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell by 9.66%, the Chinext Price Index declined by 12.5%, and the Beizheng 50 Index decreased by 17.95%. The total market turnover was 1618 billion yuan, an increase of 459.7 billion yuan compared to the previous day. More than 5,200 individual stocks in the entire market declined, with over 2,900 stocks hitting the daily limit down. In terms of sectors, Agriculture and Transgenic sectors rose against the trend; Consumer Electronics and Battery sectors suffered heavy losses. In the ETF sector, at the end of trading, the HUAXIA300 saw a spike in volume again, with Huatai-Pb Fund HUAXIA300 trading over 24 billion. HS300ETF, HUAXIA300, and Harvest HUAXIA300 ETF all saw volumes exceeding 6 billion, totaling 50.5 billion yuan. Additionally, the HUAXIA Fund Chinaamc Shanghai A50 Exchange Traded Fund traded over 9.5 billion. The Grain sector was strong throughout the day, with Penghua Fund Grain ETF and GF Fund Grain 50 ETF dropping by 3.36% and 2.34% respectively. The ultra-long duration Treasury Bond ETF strengthened, with Bosera Fund 30-Year Treasury Bond Index ETF and Pengyang Fund 30-Year Treasury Bond ETF increasing by 1.99% and 1.92% respectively. The Chinext E Fund Artificial Intelligence ETF and Chinext E Fund Artificial Intelligence ETF from Huabao both fell over 17%. The Chinext 200 ETF from Yinping and the Chinext 200 ETF from Fuguo dropped more than 16%.
