On March 21, according to Gelonghui, the three major A-share indexes collectively declined in the morning session. By lunch break, the Shanghai Composite Index fell by 0.94%, the Shenzhen Component Index dropped by 1.42%, the Chinext Price Index decreased by 1.7%, and the North Star 50 Index fell by 3.14%. The total market turnover for half a day was 979.5 billion yuan, an increase of 98.7 billion yuan compared to the previous day. More than 4,300 stocks in the entire market declined. In terms of sectors, Offshore Equipment, Oil & Gas, Port Transportation, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Steel, and Wind Power Equipment sectors saw notable gains; Huawei smartphones, humanoid robots, AI glasses, and DRG/DIP concept stocks had significant declines. In terms of ETFs, the three major U.S. stock indexes edged lower, with Cathay Fund's S&P 500 ETF and Invesco Great Wall Fund's S&P Consumer ETF rising by 7.07% and 3.17% respectively, and their latest premium/discount rates being 28.55% and 43.34%. Southern Fund's Shate ETF and Huatai Bairui Fund's Shate ETF increased by 5.26% and 2.65% respectively, with their latest premium/discount rates at 11.83% and 5.6%. The Oil & Gas sector dominated the Top Gainers, with Huatai Asset Management's Oil & Gas Resource ETF, Oil & Gas ETF from Bosera, and Yinhua Fund's Oil & Gas Resource ETF increasing by 1.66%, 1.49%, and 1.39% respectively. The innovative drug sector in the Hong Kong stock market dropped significantly, with the Hong Kong innovative drug ETF and Hong Kong innovative drug 50 ETF falling by 4.6% and 4.35% respectively. The network technology stocks in the Hong Kong stock market saw a decline, with the Hong Kong technology 50 ETF and Hong Kong Stock Connect Technology ETF decreasing by 4.39% and 4.02% respectively.
