The mortgage rates in the USA have risen for the second consecutive week, with Freddie Mac stating that the average rate for a 30-year loan is 6.67%, up from 6.65% last week.
Buyers have been dealing with high borrowing costs and prices, but are also seeing an increasing number of properties for sale, alleviating the supply crunch that has plagued the market in recent years. The National Association of Realtors stated that this has helped stimulate sales of existing homes in February.
