According to Zhituo Finance APP, the Lyon Research Reports state that Hohhot City in mainland China has announced the implementation details and service process for the childcare subsidy program. A one-time childcare subsidy of 0.01 million yuan will be provided for giving birth to the first child; for the second child, a subsidy of 0.05 million yuan will be issued, distributed at 0.01 million yuan per year until the child is 5 years old; for the third child and subsequent children, a subsidy of 0.1 million yuan will be issued, also distributed at 0.01 million yuan per year until the child is 10 years old. The firm stated that the amounts and coverage periods of these policies exceed market expectations.
Although the firm does not believe that this amount and coverage period will become the norm, it believes that the childcare subsidies in Hohhot City will enhance market expectations, mainly due to the determination of various levels of government to promote childbirth; and other regions will gradually introduce more encouraging policies. Although it is currently difficult to assess the ultimate impact of these policies on the fertility rate, it is believed that higher expectations will boost investment sentiment in infant-related Stocks in the short term. It is expected that CHINA FEIHE (06186) will benefit the most, as most of its sales come from stage 1 to 3 infant formula products. Net income for the fiscal year 2024 to 2025 is expected to reach 3.8 billion and 4.1 billion yuan, compared to 3.4 billion yuan for the fiscal year 2023.
