On March 13, Gelonghui reported that GAUSH MEDITECH (02407.HK) announced that a recently important upstream partner, Heidelberg Company from Germany, represented by its wholly-owned subsidiary in Peking, GAUSH YUANWANG Technology Co., Ltd., has obtained the medical instruments registration certificate approved by the National Medical Products Administration of China for an ANTERION ophthalmic diagnostic device (a three-in-one anterior segment multi-modal imaging diagnostic platform).
The ANTERION ophthalmic diagnostic device is a multi-modal imaging diagnostic platform that integrates biometric measurement, corneal topography, and anterior segment OCT, which can play an important role in multiple sub-specialties in ophthalmology such as refraction, corneal disease, glaucoma, and vision care. For instance, in refractive surgery, the HEIDERBERG's ANTERION ophthalmic diagnostic device can accurately assess corneal epithelial thickness (ETM) and visual quality, guiding personalized cutting plans; and in cataract surgery, by combining corneal topography and biometric data, it can reduce the risk of postoperative refractive surprises.
The ANTERION ophthalmic diagnostic device utilizes SS-OCT technology with a wavelength of 1300nm, featuring strong penetration, fast scanning speed, and high imaging resolution. Combined with eye-tracking and ray-tracing technologies, it offers precise, efficient, and comprehensive anterior segment diagnosis and treatment solutions. Moreover, one device can complete multiple examinations, greatly optimizing clinical workflow and enhancing the efficiency of anterior segment diagnosis and treatment.
The approval of this product further enriches the group's product portfolio, especially for high-end surgical and diagnostic products. The group will continuously bring more and better products and solutions to customers and patients.
