The original version of WeChat for HarmonyOS has officially been launched in the HarmonyOS app market. The HarmonyOS version of WeChat supports features such as video accounts, folded message forwarding, group red packets, transfers, and mini-programs, which are basically the same as those of the regular version of WeChat. In addition, the HarmonyOS version of WeChat can directly invoke the system's native camera, allowing for zooming while capturing photos and videos, resulting in better effects when taking photos or recording videos.

Currently, top apps such as WeChat, Alipay, Douyin, JD.com-SW (09618.HK), Taobao, MEITUAN-W (03690.HK), and WPS Office have all been launched. With the launch of the native HarmonyOS version of WeChat, the last piece of the native HarmonyOS ecosystem map's top apps has finally been completed.

Tencent's official WeChat public account "Goose Factory Bulletin Board" revealed that since this year, more than 20 Tencent products have achieved adaptation to the HarmonyOS through agile development, and more Tencent products' adaptations are on the way.
