The Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Commerce announced that starting from 2025, a new round of subsidies for replacing old consumer goods with new ones will be implemented, covering home appliances, automobiles, and electric bicycles, among others. This policy aims to promote the renewal of consumption and improve energy efficiency standards.
This subsidy activity for home appliance products is being launched first. According to the regulations, consumers who purchase home appliance products that meet the energy efficiency standards of level 2 or above will enjoy a subsidy of 15% of the sales price, and products that meet level 1 or above energy efficiency will receive an additional 5% subsidy.
