Takashi Idechiyo has over 25 years of extensive experience in the financial services sector in Japan, covering areas such as Life Insurance, Corporate and Retail Banking Business, and Consumer Finance. Before joining MetLife Japan, he served as the Director, Legal Representative, and Vice President of MetLife Japan Company.
The Chief Executive Officer of MetLife Group, Huang Qingfeng, expressed a warm welcome to Takashi Idechiyo's joining of MetLife Japan to drive the next phase of Business growth. The Japan market is crucial for MetLife. Under Takashi Idechiyo's leadership, there is confidence in further expanding the Business scale in Japan by creating new Insurance experiences for the public.
MetLife Japan has been operating in Japan since 2017, distributing its Business through independent financial advisors and E-Commerce channels.
