Cypark Resources Bhd announced that it has achieved Commercial Operation Date (COD) for one of the water bodies known as DTU2 of the Danau Tok Uban (DTU) Project.
As of today, Single Buyer has formally acknowledged the facility's readiness of DTU2, with a generation capacity of 30MWac, for commercial operations, with DTU1 COD following very soon.
The DTU project with a combined 60MWac generation capacity, stands as a testament to Cypark's resilience and commitment to delivering on its renewable energy (RE) mandate.
Overcoming unprecedented challenges such as delays caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and devastating floods, Cypark has successfully brought this first-of-its-kind project to completion.
This achievement not only underscores Cypark's technical and operational expertise but also signals the company's readiness to lead more projects in Malaysia's RE landscape. With this COD milestone, Cypark is now positioned to receive the full cash-flow benefits of its portfolio, having delivered and operationalised close to 400MW of solar generation capacity nationwide.
