The Macao International Airport Company stated that the passenger volume of Macao International Airport exceeded 7.64 million last year, an increase of 48% year-on-year; the number of flight takeoffs and landings exceeded 0.059 million, a year-on-year increase of 41%.

The company mentioned that during the peak travel period of Christmas and New Year's Eve in December, Macao International Airport recorded a monthly passenger volume of 0.68 million, and the number of aircraft takeoffs and landings reached 5,280, representing year-on-year increases of 14% and 9.6% respectively. During the Christmas holiday period, the airport averaged over 0.022 million passengers per day, with December 22 recording 0.025 million passengers, the highest for a single day.

Regarding the cargo market, the air cargo handling volume at Macao International Airport reached 0.108 million tons last year, an increase of nearly 70% compared to the same period last year.
