In the last few trading days of 2024, Warren Buffett's investment flagship, Berkshire Hathaway, increased its Shareholding in the internet domain registration service provider Verisign (VRSN.US), as the company's stock price is near its lowest point in seven years.
According to regulatory filings submitted on Monday evening, Berkshire purchased a total of 76,487 shares of Verisign stock on Thursday, Friday, and Monday, with a transaction amount of 15.6 million dollars. After continuously increasing its shareholding in the company this month, Berkshire currently holds 13.8% of the company's shares.
Although the scale of the Shareholding increase is small, Berkshire has not adjusted its ownership ratio for several years since first purchasing the stock in 2013.
