To comprehensively reflect the development status of China's digital economy core industries, the National Bureau of Statistics calculated the added value of national digital economy core industries based on the "Statistical Classification of Digital Economy and Its Core Industries (2021)" and the results of the fifth national economic census.
According to calculations, the added value of China's core digital economy industries in 2023 is 12,755.5 billion yuan, accounting for 9.9% of GDP.
From the internal composition of the digital economy core industries, the added value of digital technology application industry is 5,563.6 billion yuan, the highest proportion in the digital economy core industries, at 43.6%; the added value of digital product manufacturing industry is 4,313.5 billion yuan, accounting for 33.8%; the added value of digital factor-driven industry is 2,474.7 billion yuan, accounting for 19.4%; the added value of digital product service industry is 403.7 billion yuan, accounting for 3.2%.
