According to Zhito Finance APP, today, Ctrip Group (09961) released the 2024 'Rural Tourism Revitalization White Paper - Farms and Their Friends' report (hereinafter referred to as the report). The report indicates that by the end of November, the Order volume of rural tourism on the Ctrip platform increased by 10% year-on-year, the supply of rural homestays increased by 19.6% year-on-year, and the Order volume of rural homestays increased by nearly 24.3% year-on-year. Since the beginning of this year, visa-free policies have frequently emerged. The report shows that in 2024, the number of rural tourism Orders from overseas on the Ctrip platform increased by 71% year-on-year, achieving a 35% growth compared to 2019.

Taking Zhang Jia Jie Tourism Group, a popular city for inbound tourism, as an example, in the first three quarters, Zhang Jia Jie received a total of 1.2943 million inbound tourists, an increase of 255.47% year-on-year. Additionally, the main source of guests for rural tourism mostly consists of urban residents, particularly those aged between 25 and 45, who make up a significant proportion.

This is the third consecutive year that Ctrip has released this report, interpreting the development of the rural tourism market, new changes in the rural homestay industry, insights from practitioners and tourists, and new changes in rural tourism under inbound tourism.
