According to "Peking Business Daily," the second "1228 Capital Airport Travel Festival" has opened. During the opening ceremony, Capital Airport, in collaboration with Air China (00753.HK), CATHAY PAC AIR (00293.HK), and Hong Kong Airlines, launched a newly upgraded Beijing-Hong Kong Express product. Capital Airport (00694.HK) expects the total number of flights this year to reach 0.43 million, with passenger volume exceeding 67 million.
It was introduced that Capital Airport has set up exclusive guidance signs for the Beijing-Hong Kong Express at the check-in, security check, and boarding areas, in conjunction with airlines to establish dedicated check-in counters, promoting the application of full-process electronic boarding passes. On this basis, Air China has launched free changes on a walk-up basis, allowing passengers who meet certain conditions to be exempt from related change fees, and Phoenix Loyalty members receive an additional reward of 0.2 segments; CATHAY PAC AIR has launched convenient self-check-in, self-baggage drop-off, and quick security clearance services with electronic boarding passes; Hong Kong Airlines has shortened the cut-off time for check-in procedures to 40 minutes and launched a full-process electronic boarding pass service.
In addition, CATHAY PAC AIR's General Manager for Mainland China, Xu Guyun, revealed at the event that the airline's flagship quality VIP lounge is expected to debut at Capital Airport in 2025.
