Gelonghui, December 26 | According to IT Home, NetEase seems to have closed the official website of the developer Sakura Studio for "Sword of Mana: Mana Illusion," as it currently shows "404" when accessed. This game studio, officially announced in 2020, was formed by game developers from Japan and China, initially established in Guangzhou, and later set up a studio in Japan with the goal of developing quality console games. The studio's head is Takeya Akizuka, a seasoned developer who previously worked at Bandai Namco, however, it seems that he has recently removed all information related to Sakura Studio from his LinkedIn profile. Additionally, earlier this month, the project director of the studio's only work, "Sword of Mana: Mana Illusion," Ryosuke Yoshida, announced his departure and confirmed his joining Square Enix Holdings Co., Ltd.
