NIKON CORP SPONS has received the highest designation of "BEST WORKPLACE" for the first time at the D&I AWARD 2024 organized by JobRainbow.

The D&I AWARD is Japan's largest award that recognizes and honors companies that work on Diversity & Inclusion (D&I). The D&I initiatives of the applicant companies are evaluated using a unique set of Indicators composed of five elements: "Gender," "LGBTQ+," "Disability," "Multicultural Coexistence," and "Childcare and Caregiving," and certified in four ranks according to scores.

The NIKON Group regards Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) as a material issue, aiming to become an organization where diverse talents can fully demonstrate their abilities and thrive. This time, NIKON Group's efforts have been recognized, achieving the highest designation of "BEST WORKPLACE" for actively promoting D&I at a globally high standard, fostering corporate culture, and ensuring that each employee actively participates in D&I initiatives.

Going forward, the aim will be to create a workplace environment that considers the individuality of each person, where everyone can work safely and showcase their strengths, promoting DEI through initiatives such as education and events.
