Nestcon Berhad announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary received the letter of notification from Energy Commission of Sabah on the development of large-scale solar photovoltaic plant of 14.99 MWa.c. at Bongawan, Kimanis, Sabah

The LSSPV is 25 years of the Power Purchase Agreement with a commercial operation date not to be later than 30 November 2026; and meets certain timeline requirements, including the timing of executing the Power Purchase Agreement, the timing of achieving the Financial Close as well as the submission of a commitment bond to ECOS in relation to the Project.

Nestcon said it plans to finance the Project through internally generated funds and/or bank borrowings and expects the project to contribute positively to the net assets per share, earnings per share, and the company's gearing throughout the project period
