On December 24, Gelonghui reported that ANTA SPORTS (2020.HK) announced its first inclusion in the Dow Jones Sustainability Emerging Markets Index (DJSI Emerging Markets), making it the only Chinese footwear and apparel company to be included in this index, reflecting the group's leading position in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG). The latest adjustments to the index officially took effect yesterday (December 23). The Dow Jones Sustainability Index selects outstanding companies based on their performance in ESG areas according to S&P Global's Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), widely used by global investment institutions as a benchmark for sustainable investment, and is one of the most significant sustainability indices internationally. In 2024, over 0.013 million companies worldwide participated in the assessment, and ANTA SPORTS achieved excellent results in the earlier CSA evaluation, with a score increase of 30% compared to last year, ranking in the top 6% among about 190 global brands in textiles, clothing, and Luxury Goods, and ranking first in China's footwear and apparel industry. As a result, it was officially included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Emerging Markets Index. Among the 114 constituent stocks in this index, only 6 mainland companies, including ANTA SPORTS, were selected.
