Dagang Net Technologies Sdn Bhd, has announced a partnership with CONEX SAS to streamline EU trade compliance for Malaysian exporters with the aim in assisting exporters in fulfilling the EU's Import Control System 2 ("ICS2") requirements, which mandate pre-notification of goods to Customs authorities before shipment to the EU.
Under this partnership, DNeX and CONEX will jointly develop a new service expected to be available by March 2025. This service will enable Malaysian exporters to electronically submit electronically the necessary ICS2 information directly to the central EU system for risk assessment, simplifying the process and ensuring their compliance.
CONEX, a French company and leading EU IT service provider in customs procedure management solutions with a strong track record in customs and security declaration transmission, will leverage its expertise and platform to facilitate the seamless integration of the Entry Summary Declaration ("ENS") submission process.
This partnership will benefit Malaysian exporters by: Reducing administrative burdens: Automating the ICS2 submission process. Minimising delays and disruptions: Ensuring timely and accurate data submission. Improving trade efficiency: Streamlining trade operations with the EU.
DNeX, through Dagang Net, operates Malaysia's National Single Window for Trade Facilitation, a one-stop system connecting traders with government agencies and logistics partners. This platform processes over 100 million electronic transactions annually, facilitating seamless trade interactions and enhancing trade efficiency.
