Maanshan Steel (00323.HK) announced that, according to the "Corporate Accounting Standards" and the company's fixed Asset Management system, after assessment by relevant professionals and an aggregation by the company's financial department, a total of 1,234 fixed assets are to be scrapped in 2024. The original value of the scrapped assets is 2.73 billion Chinese yuan, with an unaudited net value of 0.344 billion Chinese yuan. This includes the dismantling of old equipment from production line renovations, elimination of outdated equipment, and scrapping after physical appraisal, which is expected to have an impact of about 0.339 billion Chinese yuan on the 2024 profit and loss.
