Today's growth market saw the TSE Growth Market Index and TSE Growth Market 250 Index both continue to decline, with 202 rising stocks, 364 falling stocks, and 37 unchanged.

The growth market had a sluggish development today. The Dow Inc. in the US market rebounded for the first time in 11 days on the 19th. Following the Federal Reserve Board's indication of a slowdown in the pace of additional rate cuts during the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC), there were movements to buy back as the previous day's sharp drop was considered excessive. The GDP for the July to September period, announced in the morning, was revised upward, and the number of new unemployment insurance applicants also decreased, indicating an expansion of economic activities, which caused long-term interest rates to rise and restrained the market, leading to a lack of momentum. As the session progressed, selling became dominant, and the Nasdaq turned downward.

Amidst the mixed US stock market, the TSE Growth Market Index started higher. However, it quickly lost momentum and fell into negative territory, before rising back into positive territory again, although buying did not continue. From the afternoon session, it widened its decline, hitting a low of 802 pt towards the end of the day. Following comments from Bank of Japan Governor Kazuo Ueda at a press conference yesterday, there was a strong mood that a rate hike in January next year would be difficult, weighing heavily on the Nikkei Stock Average and worsening investor sentiment. Additionally, with US long-term interest rates hovering around 4.5%, there was a sense of overvaluation in emerging stocks, which hindered their upward movement.

In individual stocks, Oncolis Biopharma <4588>, which faced negative sentiment due to a change in the target application timing for OBP-301, saw its stock drop 16% to hit the stop limit, becoming the biggest decliner, while Business Coach <9562>, which had risen sharply the previous day, fell 14% due to profit-taking pressures. Additionally, JDSC <4418>, which had formulated a mid-term management plan, experienced only limited positive impact on its stock price, declining 10%. Among the top market cap stocks, Free <4478> and GNI Group <2160> also saw declines, while the biggest decliners included Nippon Electrification <5759>, Caiom <4583>, and Ondeck <7360>.

On the other hand, Data Horizon <3628> showed a buying advantage, rising 19% to hit the limit up and becoming the biggest gainer, while Circle Aces <5029>, which started providing construction services for the autonomous AI agent "Agentforce," rose 10%. Moreover, shares of Dely <299A>, which was newly listed the previous day, attracted buying interest and increased by 9%. Among the top market cap stocks, GENDA <9166> and LifeNet <7157> also performed steadily, while top gainers included Dreamvision <3185>, ispace <9348>, and Digital Plus <3691>.
