The National Energy Administration announced that in November, the total electricity consumption of the entire society was 784.9 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 2.8%, compared to a year-on-year increase of 4.3% in October.
In the first 11 months of this year, the total electricity consumption of the entire society accumulated to 8968.6 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 7.1%, of which the electricity generation of industries above a certain scale was 8568.7 billion kilowatt-hours. By industry, the electricity consumption of the primary industry was 124.5 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 6.8%; the electricity consumption of the secondary industry was 5812.2 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 5.3%; the electricity consumption of the tertiary industry was 1669.8 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 10.4%; the electricity consumption of urban and rural residents was 1362.1 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 11.6%.(wl/w)
