The European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) announced that the number of new car registrations in Europe in November fell by 2% year-on-year to 1.06 million units, primarily affected by a significant drop in sales in France and Italy.
In November, sales of pure electric vehicles in Europe fell by 9.5%, while sales of hybrid automobiles increased by 18.5%, marking the third consecutive month of growth. Tesla (TSLA.US) and SAIC Motor Corporation were affected by the new EU tariffs starting in November, with sales decreasing by 40.9% and 7.8% respectively.
Among various automaker brands, Volkswagen registration rose by 2.8%, Renault increased by 9.2%, while Stellantis dropped by 10.8%.
