Kawasaki Heavy Industries started mass production of the new Electric Remote Control Unit "ERUHV" (hereinafter referred to as "the product") in December 2024. This product is an electric handle primarily used for controlling the operation of Construction Machinery, such as power shovels. In recent years, Construction Machinery like power shovels has become more multifunctional, and the number of switches required on the handle is on the rise to control various functions.
This product maintains the strength of the conventional model of a "simple shape that is easy to grip" while minimally increasing the size to meet the demand for additional switches.

Since starting mass production in 2005, our handle-type electricity remote control unit products have improved functions while responding to market needs, delivering a total of 2.5 million units to customers, including Industrial Machinery manufacturers. The newly mass-produced 'ERUHV' has been developed using technological expertise cultivated over approximately 20 years of product development to further enhance durability and operability, contributing to the added value and quality of Construction Machinery.
Moving forward, the company will continue to leverage the technological expertise and achievements developed thus far to enhance product value further, contributing to the realization of a rich life for people through improving safety and productivity in Construction and infrastructure projects.
