Worthington Enterprises Posts Upbeat Results, Joins Jabil, Archer Aviation And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Wednesday

U.S. stocks were higher, with the Dow Jones index gaining around 150 points on Wednesday.

Shares of Worthington Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE:WOR) rose sharply during Wednesday's session as the company posted better-than-expected results for its second quarter.

On Tuesday, the company reported a net sales decline of 8% year over year to $274.0 million, beating the consensus of $273.77 million. The decline was attributed to the deconsolidation of the former Sustainable Energy Solutions segment. Adjusted EPS of 60 cents exceeded the consensus of 52 cents.

Worthington Enterprises shares jumped 14.4% to $43.72 on Wednesday.

  • POET Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ:POET) shares gained 18.3% to $5.26.
  • Exodus Movement, Inc. (NASDAQ:EXOD) jumped 15.5% to $45.00.
  • Rezolve AI Limited (NASDAQ:RZLV) gained 15.5% to $3.80 as the company announced a $49 million equity conversion by leading investors.
  • FormFactor, Inc. (NASDAQ:FORM) rose 11.5% to $48.90.
  • Jabil Inc. (NYSE:JBL) gained 10% to $147.38 following better-than-expected quarterly results.
  • EnerSys (NYSE:ENS) gained 8.7% to $99.52.
  • Archer Aviation Inc. (NYSE:ACHR) shares rose 7.2% to $9.75. Cantor Fitzgerald analyst Andres Sheppard maintained Archer Aviation with an Overweight and raised the price target from $10 to $13.
  • QuantumScape Corporation (NYSE:QS) gained 6.7% to $5.66.
