(1) Investment in store network

In the second quarter of the fiscal year ending in March 2025, investments in stores were accelerated with the renewal and relocation of four stores: Higashifushimi store (April 2024), U-Car Hiroba Kamehama store (September of the same year), Higashihachi Mitaka store (August of the same year), and Renault Nerima / Alpine Center Nerima (October of the same year), actively promoting the optimization of the store network. Currently, several projects for relocation and redevelopment are in progress, and grand openings are scheduled for the second half of fiscal 2025, including Hachioji store (expected to open in 2025), Karasuyama store (expected to open in the same year), and Adachi store (expected to open in 2026). In addition, in store network investments, next-generation stores are being actively equipped with Energy management, aiming to create stores that contribute to the local environment and disaster prevention, utilizing solar panels and storage systems using reused Batteries from EV.

(2) Investment in human capital

As an investment in human capital, various challenges of employees are supported. The "NISSAN Service Technology Conference" is a historically significant event held since 1966, aimed at improving the technical skills and responsiveness of staff involved in maintenance at NISSAN MOTOR CO dealerships nationwide. The preliminary round, the "2024 National NISSAN Block Service Technology Conference," will be held in October 2024, where the company's team aims to win after securing second place this year at the national competition scheduled for next year. Furthermore, as part of NISSAN MOTOR CO's human resource development project, the "NISSAN Mechanic Challenge" sees maintenance staff from the subsidiary NISSAN Tokyo Sales participating as a part of the racing team in motorsport events like "SUPER GT" and "Super Taikyu." The sense of speed and precision experienced in the extreme environment of professional racing is feedbacked into their daily work, enhancing their skills.

(3) Contribution to the region and society

Contributions to the community and society are always being made. In June 2024, a memorandum was concluded with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to participate in the "TOKYO Children's Monitoring Circle Project". The plan is to engage in activities that ensure the safety and security of local children at auto retail locations and business sites within the Tokyo region. Additionally, by utilizing EVs at various events held in the region, Electricity is provided, and they have received positive feedback as a quiet Generator that can be useful in emergencies such as disasters. At "Mitsugo Farm" operated by NISSAN MOTOR CO Tokyo Sales, a variety of vegetables produced through hydroponics are regularly donated to 38 children's meal centers in Shinagawa Ward.
