KOSÉ Corporation (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, President: Kazuhiro Kobayashi) has received the "D&I AWARD 2024," the largest award in Japan for recognizing and honoring companies promoting workplace diversity and inclusion (hereafter referred to as D&I), winning the "D&I AWARD prize (SEMI-GRAND PRIZE)" for the first time in the category for companies with 301 to 3,000 employees.*1 At the same time, the company has also received the highest rank of certification for D&I initiatives called "BEST Workplace" from the same award. This is also the company's first certification.

The "D&I AWARD 2024" is organized by JobRainbow, focusing on five areas: "Gender," "LGBTQ+," "Disabilities," "Multicultural Coexistence," and "Childcare/Caregiving," conducting a survey to visualize the initiatives of companies that respect employee diversity. The initiatives for promoting diversity in companies and organizations active in Japan are scored using a unique evaluation indicator called "Diversity Score," and certifications are granted in four levels based on the scores. Additionally, companies that score highly and undertake initiatives that serve as role models for society are awarded the D&I AWARD Grand Prize and the D&I AWARD prize (SEMI-GRAND PRIZE). In the 2024 fiscal year, 710 companies (as announced by the organizer) participated in this award.

Additionally, the childcare leave acquisition rate for both genders at our company is currently at 100%*5.
