has started providing new features to support on-site DX.

Koss Corp, a subsidiary of SHARP, (Headquartered in Koto City, Tokyo, President: Yuu Matsumoto, hereafter referred to as AIoT Cloud), will enhance the on-site DX support function of the 'WIZIoT remote monitoring' service, which realizes efficiency in factory equipment patrol and inspection operations by utilizing AI, and will start providing it from today, December 18.

In light of the serious labor shortage mainly in manufacturing sites, AIoT Cloud aims to contribute to reducing the workload of on-site operations such as patrols and equipment inspections by providing a SaaS-type service that utilizes AI to read meters and other factory equipment captured by cameras since February of this year.

In this functional enhancement, in response to customer requests that "it is essential to record not only the meters but also abnormalities confirmed on-site," a feature was added to record inspection results for equipment other than the meters, such as unusual smells, noises, and liquid leaks. Now, by simply selecting from options in the smartphone app, it is possible to document abnormalities along with adding notes or attaching images taken with the camera. Furthermore, from the recording of inspection results to online approvals and report creation, a paperless process for a series of inspection tasks has been realized.

The AIoT cloud will continue to propose "DX for on-site routine inspections" by expanding the functions of the "WIZIoT remote monitoring" service, contributing to business efficiency and cost reduction to mitigate the labor shortage.

Once approval is completed, a daily report with the names of both the inspector and the approver (PDF) is automatically created and saved in the cloud. This eliminates the need for copying inspection tickets onto spreadsheet applications for report creation, realizing a series of paperless inspection operations from inspection records to report creation, thereby improving operational efficiency.
