According to data released by China Bus Statistical Information Network and reported by Zhitung Finance APP, in November 2024, a total of 6,337 new energy buses over 7 meters were sold in China, representing a month-on-month increase of 9.71% (from 5,776 units) and a year-on-year increase of 80.44% (from 3,512 units), showing a slowdown compared to the year-on-year increase in October (131.22%); from January to November, a cumulative total of 35,808 units were sold, a year-on-year increase of 24.78% (from 28,698 units), further expanding the increase compared to the cumulative increase from January to October (17.01%). After the “golden September and silver October,” in November, the sales of domestic new energy buses welcomed another "double increase."
Yutong once again tops the list, Haige rises to second place, and eight companies achieve "double increase."
In November 2024, among the sales rankings of new energy buses over 7 meters in China, Yutong Bus Co., Ltd. achieved sales of 1,249 units, once again winning the monthly sales championship; Suzhou Jinlong Haige sold 798 units, rising from seventh in October to second in November, an increase of five positions, and also ranking second in monthly sales again since June; CRRC Electric sold 686 units, ranking third in sales.
In terms of sales performance of new energy buses over 7 meters, in November 2024, eight out of the top ten companies achieved a "double increase" both month-on-month and year-on-year, including Yutong Bus Co., Ltd., Suzhou Jinlong Haige, Xiamen Jinlong, Shanghai Shenwo, Yuncheng Commercial Vehicle, BYD, Foton Ouhui, and Skyworth Autos; among them, Skyworth Autos saw a year-on-year sales increase of 2,314.29%, leading the industry; Xiamen King Long, Xiamen Jinlong, and Suzhou Jinlong Haige also achieved a year-on-year sales doubling; Yuncheng Commercial Vehicle experienced a year-on-year sales increase of 146.03%; Shanghai Shenwo sales increased nearly 80% year-on-year, while Yutong Bus Co., Ltd. saw over 60% year-on-year growth.
Looking at cumulative sales, from January to November 2024, Yutong Bus Co., Ltd. sold over 8,000 units, leading the industry with a growth rate of 65.49%; CRRC Electric and Suzhou Jinlong Haige also achieved nearly 70% cumulative sales increase; Yuncheng Commercial Vehicle and Shanghai Shenwo both saw double-digit year-on-year growth.
In terms of market share performance, in November 2024, the combined market share of the top three companies in the sales of new energy buses above 7 meters reached 43.13%; the combined market share of the top five companies exceeded 60%, showing a decline compared to October; the combined market share of the top ten companies reached as high as 90.64%, indicating that over 90% of the market share is contributed by the top ten companies, which reflects a relatively stable market structure.
Segmented market: Jiangling and Changhong lead the seating and bus markets respectively with a month-on-month increase of 24 times.

The sales of new energy seating buses in November reached 1,036 units, an increase of 78.62% month-on-month (from 580 units), with year-on-year growth exceeding 40%, significantly reduced by over 30% compared to the year-on-year growth in October; from January to November, the cumulative year-on-year growth rate reached 115.29%, slightly slowing down compared to the year-on-year growth in the January to October period (131.95%). Sales of other types of buses in November reached 50 units, showing significant growth compared to October, with a month-on-month increase of 24 times; from January to November, the cumulative year-on-year growth rate reached 21.78%, slightly declining from the year-on-year growth in the January to October period (32.98%).
From the sales data in November, the market for new energy buses above 7 meters remains strong after experiencing the peak season of "Golden September and Silver October". As of November, there has already been a four-month consecutive increase, and it is highly likely that the market heat will continue until the end of the year.
