According to Zhitong Finance APP, TRENDZON HLDG (01865) announced that on December 17, 2024, the company signed a memorandum of understanding with Central Asia Private Equity Fund Management (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. (the seller) to acquire 51% equity of Xiexin Industrial Park Management (Guangdong) Co., Ltd. from the seller.

It is reported that the target company mainly engages in managing pumped storage power stations, Intelligent Manufacturing, rooftop photovoltaic, custom Power Inverter factories, and custom Junction Box factories.

The Board of Directors believes that the group’s acquisition of Xiexin will help the group’s Energy Business and Intelligent Manufacturing Business, and provide support for the group's clean energy projects in China, such as photovoltaics, wind power, energy storage, integrated ultra-fast charging stations for light storage, and comprehensive intelligent energy management. The group will leverage its advantages in the Industry Chain to provide support for industrial chain coverage and foreign investment injection in collaborative projects. Both parties will utilize their respective strengths in project development, investment, research, and Operation stages, to achieve project cooperation through mutually beneficial resource sharing.

The target company has obtained the enterprise investment project record certificate in Guangdong Province for the annual production of 15GW and 20GW Power Inverter products, laying a foundation for the smooth progress of the project. In addition, the target company has also acquired a project for a new type of efficient dam-less pumped storage power station with a capacity of 100MW/600MWH and energy storage, which will lead in the energy storage new energy field, demonstrating its strong competitiveness in the global new energy sector and further proving its efforts and achievements in sustainable development and the Eco-friendly Concept.
