The 18th ASIA FINANCIAL Forum, co-organized by the Hong Kong government and the Trade Development Council, will take place from January 13 to 14 next year at the Wanchai Convention and Exhibition Centre, becoming the first financial event in the region in 2025, with the theme "Kickstarting New Growth Engines." The event will invite over a hundred Global political and business leaders, financial experts, investment authorities, business elites, Technology giants, and economists to discuss topics such as insights from the Global election year, geopolitical situations, changes in MMF policy, and macroeconomic challenges, providing a multi-faceted analysis of financial market developments and investment opportunities, and exploring how Hong Kong can leverage its advantages as an international financial center to seek new growth engines amidst changes.
The chairman of the ASIA FINANCIAL Forum organizing committee and CEO of HSBC Hong Kong, Helen Wong, stated that the Global political and economic landscape in 2025 will be full of challenges, further highlighting the importance of international cooperation. Participants are expected to discuss the growth potential of Emerging Markets such as mainland China, ASEAN, and the Middle East, as well as the latest developments in AI, CNI Xiangmi Lake Fintech Index, sustainable development, charity, and family offices.
