In today's growth market, the TSE Growth Market Index and the TSE Growth Market 250 Index both fell. The number of rising stocks was 167, the number of falling stocks was 398, and unchanged was 33.

In the US market on the 13th, the Dow average ended down 86.06 dollars at 43828.06 dollars, while the Nasdaq closed up 23.88 points at 19926.72. Major corporate earnings results were well received, and after the opening, there was an increase. The Dow turned lower due to selling and profit-taking amid expectations of a slowdown in the Federal Reserve Board's (FRB) rate cut pace, and traded soft throughout the day. Although Nasdaq was weighed down by high interest rates, the rise of Broadcom (AVGO) in Semiconductors pushed the Index ETF up, and it remained firm throughout the day ending mixed.

The TSE Growth Market Index started lower, but during the first half, the decline was restrained. However, from the middle to the end, the decline slightly expanded. On the other hand, similar to the Nikkei average, there was a strong wait-and-see mood, and it did not move towards searching lower, staying within a narrow range around 817 points throughout the afternoon.

On an individual basis, Smaregi <4431> dropped 17.64% and was the top loser. Coly <4175>, which released the Q3 earnings for the fiscal year ending January 2025 after last Friday's close and was seen as a selling factor, and Morpho <3653>, which was likely disheartened by the downward revision of the planned figures for the fiscal year ending October 2024, also plunged. Among the top trading value stocks, Timee <215A> and Cover <5253> declined. Other notable decliners included Karada Note <4014>, Japan M&A <9236>, and Brains <4075>.

On the other hand, DWTI <4576> rose 25.00%, becoming the top gainer. The announcement of an agreement for joint research on dry eye treatment with Daiichi Sankyo <4461> was seen as material. Ashiro <7378> was favored for its high growth sustainability outlook for the fiscal year ending October 2025, while Heartseed <219A> seemed to have gained traction from appearances in some media. Among the top trading value stocks, Raksas <288A> and DELTA-P <4598> rose. Other notable gainers included RidgeEye <5572>, Sakura Saku <7097>, and P Anti-Aging <4934>.

In addition, among the constituent stocks of the TSE Growth Market Core Index, Free <4478>, CUC <9158>, Safy <4375>, and Bengoshi Dot Com <6027> fell.
