Furthermore, to realize this purpose with a unified group, they are determined to enhance brand value and achieve sustainable growth, changing their corporate name from "Japan Computer Dynamics" to "NCD" effective January 1, 2024, along with changing their corporate logo.
As of the end of the second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025, total Assets were 14,831 million yen, net Assets were 7,096 million yen, equity ratio was 47.4%, and the number of issued Stocks was 8,800,000 (including 619,838 treasury stocks). The business bases are located at the headquarters (Shinagawa, Tokyo), Odaiba Office (Koto, Tokyo), Koto Service Center (Koto, Tokyo), Fukuoka Office (Hakata, Fukuoka City, relocating and expanding in May 2024), Kokura Office (Kitakyushu, Fukuoka Prefecture), Nagasaki Office (Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture, including MSC (Managed Service Center)), and Goto Office (Goto City, Nagasaki Prefecture).
The group consists of the company, and subsidiaries NCD Technology Inc., NCD Solutions Inc. (formerly Zexus, which changed its name effective January 1, 2024), Tianjin Enchide Information System Development Co., Ltd. (hereinafter: NCD CHINA), NCD Est Inc., NCD Pros Inc. (67% ownership), and Japan Computer Service Co., Ltd. (hereinafter: JCS, which became a subsidiary in December 2023). NCD Technology focuses on IT-related business such as system development, NCD Solutions focuses on IT-related business including system development mainly for PANASONIC CORP＜6752＞ Group, NCD CHINA is involved in system development business in China, NCD Est is involved in bicycle parking business in Kyushu, NCD Pros manages and operates bicycle parking, and JCS conducts IT-related business such as system development, operation, and maintenance mainly for Kao Co., Ltd.＜4452＞.
2. History
The company was established in March 1967 and started the system development business, launched the support & service business in October 1995, commenced the parking system business in October 1997, and changed its name to NCD in January 2024. Regarding Stocks, the company was registered for over-the-counter trading at the Japan Securities Dealers Association in September 2000 (and subsequently listed on Tokyo Stock Exchange JASDAQ due to mergers of Exchanges). In April 2022, the company transitioned to the Tokyo Standard market due to the market reorganization of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Related to group companies, Japan System Research (now NCD Technology) was established in November 2000, NCD CHINA was established in April 2005, Zexus (now NCD Solutions) became a subsidiary in December 2007 (fully owned subsidiary by August 2008), NCD Pros was established in March 2018, Yano Industries (now NCD Est) became a subsidiary in April 2019, and JCS became a subsidiary in December 2023.
